FINISHING
Filling of surface imperfections should be done before sanding.
Both faces of the plywood should be sanded with a minimum 120-grit paper.
Any filling done after sanding should be kept to a minimum & must be hand-sanded smooth once dry.
MOISTURE CONTENT
To prevent distortion during transit, storage & construction application it is vital that the moisture content of BPC plywood be managed in accordance with this Specification.
At the time of dispatch from production the moisture content of the plywood should be 13% +/- 2%.
It is required that all BPC plywood is “rested” for a minimum of 7-days between packaging & shipment.
